Patch Cab Corners and Steps

You can see the rust holes in this picture of the passenger side outer cab corner. The cab corners actually looked pretty solid until I had it media blasted. When I got it back the cab corners looked like a colander for straining spaghetti. I could have put body filler back on the corners, but I opted for new ones from Obsolete Chevy.  Take a look below to see why I am gald I chose to replace the cab corners rather than filling them with filler.

If I had used body filler to fix the holes as in the picture above, I would have missed the rust between the inner and outer cab corners. Which would have been a problem later.

This picture shows how the driver side step was eaten away by rust. The rocker panel is dented from rocks stumps or whatever may have hit it. I replaced the steps and rocker panels on both sides.
