When a religious leader died, the temple he worshiped in was no longer used. The temple was never destroyed, but added on to, creating a catacomb of rooms and passage ways. On the right hand corner you can see the face of one of their Gods.
The picture does not do this temple justice, there are many hieroglyphics all over the structure and inside the temple.
