Allen's 1967 Chevelle

This is Allen's 1967 Chevelle. Allen bought this car for $200.00 back in 1994. He worked on it for 5 years and has invested up to $27,000, not including his labor. He finally got it "Car Show" ready in 1994 and has won numerous trophies. This car is powered by a 455CI Pontiac big block, that has 628-HP and if you had the nitrous bottle, you can get 781-HP. Transferring all that power to the transmission is a 3500 stall torque converter, pushing a GM 400 trans brake rev. shift pattern transmission. The transmission turns a Ford 9 inch rear end with a 4:86 gear. It has a ladder bar suspension that sticks the rear 33X19.50X15 Mickey Thompson tires to the ground. The front tires are 26X8.50X15 Mickey Thompson's and all four are on Corvette Rally rims.
