This picture was taken while
we were on the ferry boat. This trip was very beautiful, the
water was very clear and also very deep in some places. The
tour guide said some areas of Lake Tahoe are over 1600 feet
deep. There are no rivers that feed into Lake Tahoe, it is
filled solely by the melting snow from all the mountains
around it. Also there is only one way out for all the water
and that is the Truckee River. |
