Dale Jarrett wins the DuraLube 500 and gains 24 valuable points towards his championship bid. Dale moves from 3rd place to 2nd and is 77 points behind Gordon. Mark Martin drops to 3rd at 87 points behind Gordon. When they get to Atlanta it will be the closest points race since 1992.
